If you’re searching for the ultimate Halloween scare, there’s a place in ENC which provides that and more. Monster Martins House Of Terror will open its haunted doors in Fairfield Harbor beginning this Tuesday, and it has a purpose – admission is canned food or a $2 donation with proceeds benefitting Religious Community Services (RCS).
This is the 19th year for the House Of Terror, the goal of which is to scare away hunger. The Martin Family began the project near the turn of the century in New Jersey. Having moved to New Bern recently, their Halloween tradition continues as well and will continue to help those in need.
